Question: Is Mike’s Mobile Gym Insured?

Answer:

Yes. Mike’s Mobile Gym is fully insured by Philadelphia Insurance Companies for complete liability coverage for our clients, equipment, and health studio on wheels.

Question: What is Mike’s Mobile Gym?

Answer:

We are a personal training service that literally brings the gym to your home or office at the designated time-slot selected.

Question: What I can expect from the initial consultation?

Answer:

We will discuss your medical history, current diet, and comprehensive goals for your individual fitness program. Your Mike’s Mobile Gym trainer will explain how your scientifically formulated workout program will be the right path to your success.

Question: What can I expect from the first workout?

Answer:

During the first workout you can expect to learn the exercises that you will be completing throughout the program. We will focus on teaching you the perfect form and controlled movements for executing these exercises. The first workout focuses on correcting muscular imbalances and finding which exercises are the best fit for you.

Question: Do I have to fill out paperwork prior to working out in the gym?

Answer:

Yes. The Medical History, Waiver, and Informed Consent forms must be filled out prior to starting a program. We recommend that the Physician’s Approval form be filled out as well for your safety and guidance, but you are not obligated to do so. If a Mike’s Mobile Gym trainer spots a high risk medical history background or you are 65 years of age and up, then it is mandatory to get a signed physician’s approval.

Question: Does the gym have Air Conditioning and Heat?

Answer:

Yes. The gym is fully equipped with a 13,500 BTU Air Conditioner along with a built in heating system. The entire gym is fully insulated as well.

Question: Can I bring a friend/spouse/partner?

Answer:

Yes. The gym is yours for the hour and the rate stays the same for up to 3 people! If you have trouble affording the sessions on your own, this is a great way to enhance your fitness levels, save money, and enjoy your workout with others.

Question: Does Mike’s Mobile Gym provide Physical Therapy services?

Answer:

Mikes Mobile Gym does not provide Physical Therapy services at this time. We are a personal training service. Once a patient is out of physical therapy we are able to continue the progress in both muscle and strength rehabilitation. If you are injured you must consult a doctor and attend physical therapy until the facility clears you to seek alternative forms of rehabilitation.

Question: What happens if I’m late for a session?

Answer:

If you are not ready at the time of your session or are interrupted during your training, your one hour time limit will not be extended. In the event that you are not at your predetermined meeting place (i.e. your house or office) at your scheduled meeting time, your trainer is required to wait 15 minutes past the scheduled meeting time. If after 15 minutes has passed and you have not shown for your training session, your trainer is permitted to leave and (1) session will be charged.

Question: What if the gym can’t fit down my street or at my office?

Answer:

We can address this situation by bringing the gym to another convenient area (i.e. local park, friends house, or nearby office building) or we can bring a suitcase full of essential equipment to your home or office in order to implement an effective workout.

Question: How old do I have to be to train at the gym?

Answer:

The youngest age that we will train is 13-17 years of age with the approval from a parent or guardian. There is no age limit, but a physician’s approval form is mandatory for adults 65 years of age and up.

Question: What is the cancellation policy?

Answer:

For the Single Session and True Fit Package, a 24 hr cancellation notice is strictly enforced. For the Core Fit and Xtreme Fit Packages (2) cancellations with or without 24 hrs notice is permitted. Any cancellations past that point will be charged. We recommend that you have the least amount of cancellations in order to achieve the highest progress in your health and fitness program.
